Human connection, sharing stories of joy and pain, and finding solace within genuine relationships has always been a love and passion of mine. We all deserve a space to be understood, a space to express our stories, and a space to receive support. I believe many mental health issues stem from difficulty interfacing with systemic issues like financial stability, housing security, freedom to express ourselves, familial expectations, discrimination, intergenerational trauma, gender roles, burnout from work, and many other issues that are set up to be difficult. Through compassionate, culturally sensitive, and empowering therapeutic work, we can implement tools to create more ease, joy, and softness in the struggle. Sometimes a simple outside perspective provides huge relief, and sometimes it takes many years of collaborative work. Wherever you may be on your journey, let’s start together!
As a queer/gender fluid person and therapist, I incorporate expansive perspectives, language, and theory to my practice. I am cheerful, thoughtful, and hold both grounded strength and tenderness. I am Trauma Therapy Certified, and specialize in processing the impacts of challenging experiences, encouraging bravery as well as comfort. Additionally, I practice integrative approaches, offering investigation into the different layers and parts of yourself, space to explore your interpersonal relationships, as well as body-based practices to process emotions and experiences in other ways besides just talking.
I offer therapy to adults and teens, and an extensive background working with queer and trans neurodivergent adults and youth. I want to provide the skills, insights, and tools to support growth and ease in your life, and be an advocate for you, inside and outside of the therapy room.
I am a graduate from Antioch University Seattle's Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Trauma Therapy Certificate Program, and practice under the supervision of Abby White LMFT.
