Board Member - Community Liaison
We are adding a new position to our Board of Directors (pending official vote in the minutes, unofficially unanimously approved via Google Communications) that engages with local community and state events on behalf of Hope Development Practice (HDP). At this time all Board positions are volunteer and offer no financial gain or benefit. Event tabling supplies will be provided and funded by HDP.
Individuals interested in this position must be willing, able, and motivated to commit to the following:
Participate and engage in community events in Washington state as a representative of HDP.
Seek out and identify community engagement opportunities.
Educate about HDP services and mental health as it intersects with our target population (GSRD).
Complete onboarding training and videos.
Attend local and state governmental meetings and hearings as relevant and identified by the Board of Directors.
Network with and recruit community services and providers to contribute to the network of safe and affirming providers known to HDP.
Invite participation from outside services to join our Outside Services page and participate in events such as Plateau Pride.
Promote HDP and Plateau Pride at local events, farmers markets, etc.
Collaborate with the Director of Volunteer Services for assistance of volunteers in staffing and tabling events.
