Winter Proginoskes, Intern Therapist

they / them

I am Winter and my pronouns are they/them. I'm queer, transgender nonbinary, poly, disabled, white, and neurodivergent. I'm a graduate student intern in my last year of my studies. My degree is in rehabilitation counseling, which focuses on counseling people with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses.  I am also a fiction and poetry writer, a sculptor, and a painter. I love animals and I have a small dog, a cat, and three snakes. I enjoy spending time outside in the trees and near water.

I want to deeply listen to you and meet you where you're at. The therapeutic space is for you to bring in whatever needs attention and for us to work together to give you that attention. I approach therapy from an IFS parts perspective, meaning I look at all of us as having distinct parts that are working together to make us up as a whole. I believe there are no bad parts, and that you know best what you need to heal from the things in life that hurt you. I look forward to working with you and learning about you.
