As a trauma-informed, client-centered counselor, I offer a safe and affirming space for people navigating complex emotions, relational pain, family dynamics, and life transitions. I have a special heart for overwhelmed parents, those carrying generational wounds, and anyone who has ever felt unseen, dismissed, or exhausted from holding it all together.
Before entering the counseling field, I spent over two decades supporting families of preschoolers as a Family Support Specialist, followed by five years serving in my local community. During that time, I focused on building meaningful connections with women and strengthening our community through acts of service, support, and shared life. The widespread division that grew during the COVID-19 pandemic deepened my desire to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can pause, process, and remember they don’t have to navigate their inner world alone.
I’m trained in EMDR and Narrative Therapy and hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I believe mental health involves the whole person—mind, body, relationships, and spirit. While the spiritual dimension is often overlooked in traditional models of care, I welcome the opportunity to explore and integrate your beliefs and values into therapy if that feels meaningful to you.
As a mother of three, I understand both the beauty and the burden of trying to care for others while also finding space for yourself. I believe that each person carries a deep inner wisdom that knows how to heal. As your therapist, my role is to help you reconnect with that part of yourself. Together we will work to create a space of safety, trust, and gentle curiosity where your healing can naturally unfold. If you are ready to begin, I would be honored to be your therapist!
