Erin recently graduated with her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and working towards her LMHCA in Seattle, Washington. She received her Bachelors of Arts from The Evergreen State College, in which she studied psychology, philosophy, sociology, and gender studies. She works under the supervision and training of Abby White towards her Mental Health Counselor Associate License. In therapy, she tries to validate experiences while highlighting strengths, aiming to empower her clients. Her therapeutic approach and counseling skills include trauma-informed care, attachment theory, existential and narrative interventions, and mindfulness-CBT. She has a focus on working with LGBTQIA+ populations, and with issues such as grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and trauma. Ultimately, her goal is to provide support and create collaborative connections that will lead to the personal growth and healing of her clients.
