I received my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University and my Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Washington State University. I am a designated Child Mental Health Specialist by the Washington State Department of Health.
I have worked in community mental health for nearly a decade serving people of all ages, life stages and ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. I am trained in several evidence-based models, to include CBT, TFCBT, EFT, DBT and art therapy for working with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, communication, anger management, life transitions and couple and parenting issues.
I enjoy getting to know people through authentic and connected relationships. My therapeutic approach is authentically me – down to earth, comfortable, and real. I see my role as your therapist as a supportive guide, reflecting important insights back to you. I’ll help you gain clarity, highlight blockages, and learn new skills so that you can advocate and attain your own happiness and wholeness. Through a collaborative therapeutic process, we will uncover and awaken your unique strengths and potential.
Whether you are seeking help for yourself, your partnership or your family, I will help you heal from past pain, set realistic but stretchy goals, and see the desired changes become reality for you and your life.
