Yeon Soo Choi, BA / MA Intern

I am currently completing my last year with a master’s in Couple and Family Therapy and a certification in Addiction Counseling at Antioch University Seattle. My identity as an Asian cis-female has informed my understanding of the structural and experiential consequences of having multiple layers of marginalization and privilege. As my approach is grounded in collaborative, systemic, person-centered, and strengths-based therapeutic models, my goal is to create a welcoming and affirming space for individuals to unpack the thoughts and feelings that bring them to therapy. I enjoy working with marginalized populations, family/couples experiencing systemic trauma, and individuals struggling with addiction, but not limited to these particular communities.
